Become More Effective with Simple Practices
Four Quadrants offer Personal and Professional Satisfaction
Wouldn’t you love to be more effective with your time? What if I could help you maximize your day and the time you spend doing certain things. The Four Quadrants have been a huge part of my success, both personally and professionally. Using the Four Quadrants is a way of organizing thoughts and teaches how to separate our priorities, placing them in our “Urgent” box, or “Important” box. Ever notice that we ail in the things we say we don’t have time for, can’t commit to, and often have the most problems following through. The Four Quadrants have been recognized as a higher-level of understanding in how to become more effective with our time in relationships, in business and in life.
We all know the daily grind can be overwhelming by the number of priorities we have. Between our home, job, children, pets, and marriage, all of the above seem to effortlessly fall into the “Urgent” box. But are they really “Urgent?”
I’m sure you know the familiar saying, “I can’t be all things to all people…” – and you can’t, because every time you try you’ll end up feeling drained, unsatisfied and unsuccessful.
I have found a great sense of professional and personal satisfaction through the use of Quadrants. My goal in using them is to outline my priorities and in the order I need them to happen. Quadrants have helped release the overwhelming parts of my everyday life. There are no more feelings of inundated stress, pressure, or unrealistic expectations. Think about it – all the unnecessary stress and overload we place on ourselves, and for what? Only 50% of the things I used to have on my “list” actually needed to get done, the remaining 50% was nonsense – busy work that didn’t create any positive long term impact. Here’s how Quadrants work:
Guarding my time wisely, I begin every day with Quadrant 1. When this has been successfully completed I move on to Quadrant 2, then Quadrant 3, and finishing with Quadrant 4. Organizing my day helps me validate all I accomplish, knowing it was meaningful and impactful.
This is an example of Quadrants for everyday life – Keep in mind, the items listed here should help you reach your life goals.

Need-to-Know Tools for Success
P.S. An example to help better understand how to calculate ratios: Let’s say your goal is to recruit/enroll 5 people per month. You will want to know how to calculate what you’ll need in order to reach your goals. This can also help determine what you may need to improve on over time. In the beginning, it may take as many as 50 contacts, 75 or even 100 per week. If you made 50 calls, spoke to 11 live prospects, set or conducted 8 appointments and enrolled 1, your ratio would be 50:11:8:1. Thus to enroll 1 person, it took 50 calls. From this example: it would take at least 250 calls to recruit/enroll 5 people per month. Every person’s skill set will vary, therefore ratios will always vary, which is why it’s all the more important to keep 6 weeks’ worth of steady tracking.

Why Network Marketing? Am I Crazy?
Most call me driven Ok, so am I nuts, or just lucky?! Since I know I’m not nuts, and luck can only take you so far, it must be something more. I knew early on that it would be a blend of wit and grit that would take me all the way to the top. So why Network Marketing? Hands down, Network Marketing is the greatest industry in the world. I love it because it allows you to own your time, make an unlimited income, and do it all from home.
My journey hasn’t always been as a seven figure income earner. I had a starting point and many learning curves that would follow. All of it began while caring for an infant, with baby #2 on the way, and baby #3 coming just one year later. My husband was a police officer on the SWAT team, and here I was, a stay-at-home mom, with 3 young kids and trying to keep some sense of myself and my ambitions. Finding work with young children became a task in itself. As I was trying to “do it all,” I never lost my ambition and spark to make my dreams become a reality. I ventured out into the world of business and became an Entrepreneur.
Am I crazy? Ok, maybe a little…lol, but this industry has taken me to the level of a seven figure income earner, literally, all the way to the Top! It has allowed me to build incredible relationships, and share incredible opportunities. Over the past 13 years my success soared once I “Got out of the Box” and started building my business. A home-based business offered much to be gained, and I knew that my full commitment to it would be the deal breaker. Learning success through failure, I have always been one who is true to my ambitions and unwilling to give up. Home-based business – here I come! And I dove in, head first. I tapped into my talents and created a powerful online marketing system that would change the way business was done. Before long I was earning more than $20,000 per month and receiving accolades from industry leaders about my cutting-edge system. It soon had become one of the top 1,000 sites visited on the web in 2004.
So, why do all this? Why all the hard work and effort? Because this is real life. And what I would learn years later, as I grew my networks, and businesses, is that the toughest part of success would be making it all work together. The difference between me and others is I have the “whatever it takes” attitude. It’s engrained in all that I am.
I have spent the last year working on several key projects, using my innovative marketing systems, launch strategies and branding concepts, and have created Massive Results. I am ready again…to dive in. I want you to join me! Will you share the same “Willingness to WIN” that has taken my career to amazing heights?
2011 will be another round of incredible achievements for my team! I am determined to see incomes soar, dreams achieved, and doors of opportunity open for people just like you.
Could You Succeed in a Home-Based Business?
The difference of success vs. failure is knowing how to
Evaluate, Select and “Work” your next Opportunity
Did you know…
- every 11 seconds begins the start-up of a home-based business…7,854 a day!
- home-based opportunities are one of the fastest growing sectors in business
- one of the world’s most successful investors, Warren Buffett sees the huge potential in home-based businesses – he owns one!
Wouldn’t you agree that timing in business is everything. If you don’t know this by now, chances are you will soon. Time is money people! You have to get with the times. If you want to be successful in this industry you must take those first steps…more like strides.
Here are some tips to help you evaluate, select and “work” your next Opportunity.
- Ask around. One of the best ways to get a clear idea of what’s going on is to ask those within the industry. Listen for the good, the bad and the ugly…staying away from the last two…lol.
- A Mentor is a must. What better way to learn then by someone who is tried and true? If you want to maximize your opportunity and gain success, then partner with someone who will get you there.
- Find a long-term opportunity. Short-term opportunities are just this, “short term.” You never want to chase a so-called “craze.” Trust me, the outcome will be bleak. The products need to “sell” themselves and the compensation plan should offer the income potential you are wanting.
- Duplication. One of the biggest reasons I see success vs. failure in this industry – is people don’t know how to duplicate. Duplication produces results. You must have a Marketing System behind you that’s going to drive results. Keep in mind, slow and steady doesn’t win the race.
- Team. Place yourself in a team and a company that will support you and your growing business…200%. The people within your team will be the very backbone to help you achieve your dreams.

Decisions, Decisions!
The Good ones, the Bad ones and the Ugliest of all…doing absolutely Nothing
So what’s the big deal with decision-making? And why are people afraid of it? Since we can all agree that making no decision rarely gives the outcome we want, what about the other choices?
All outcomes will go one of two ways – Good or Bad. As an Industry Leader and Mentor I am often asked how I can make a hundred decisions every day, and still end up on top.
Well, it’s actually pretty simple; you see, you don’t have to be a genius to understand that when something is on the table and no decision is made – you go nowhere. Not up…not down. And it doesn’t take being an extreme risk-taker to advance in life and reach your optimum success. You just have to make a decision.
Ever think that maybe “No” decision puts you worse off than a Good or Bad one? Just think about it for a moment…ok, times up!
It’s like the old saying – “Trust your decision making…don’t rely on other’s to tell you what you already know.” Every decision you will make in your life will fall within the Good, the Bad and the Ugliest of all…doing absolutely Nothing.
Is it the risk factor, or because the risk seems greater than the reward? Don’t be one of those…the type that is so afraid of failing – they do nothing at all. The hardest part of decision-making is always the risk; because every decision affects or changes our life.
Sometimes the choices you make are a good outcome, and some will later have you wondering, “What was I thinking…?” But trust me, the attempt will produce far greater rewards than watching others, who are doers, pass you by.
What advice do I have? Trust your instincts, and connect with the right people; the decision-makers and doers, with the get-it-done attitudes. You know yourself better than anyone and believe me, rarely do we let ourselves down.
Connect with me today and let me help maximize your future.
